Accessibility
BeeJAO is committed to improving access to its digital services for people with different abilities, circumstances, devices and assistive-technology requirements.
BeeJAO Global Limited (“BeeJAO”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is developing a digital ecosystem spanning professional learning, advisory, technology, digital commerce, publishing, talent and related digital services. Accessibility is an important consideration as we build and improve these experiences.
1. Our Accessibility Commitment
BeeJAO aims to provide digital experiences that are increasingly:
Perceivable
Information should be presented in ways users can perceive.
Operable
Interfaces and navigation should support different methods of interaction.
Understandable
Information and functionality should be presented clearly and consistently.
Robust
Digital content should work, where reasonably practicable, across contemporary technologies and assistive technologies.
2. Accessibility Reference Framework
BeeJAO uses the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 as an important reference framework when improving the accessibility of its digital services.
3. What We Are Working Toward
As BeeJAO develops its digital ecosystem, accessibility considerations may include:
- logical page structures and heading hierarchy;
- meaningful page titles;
- readable text and responsive layouts;
- sufficient visual contrast;
- keyboard-accessible navigation where supported;
- descriptive link text;
- alternative text for meaningful images;
- appropriately labeled forms;
- clear validation and error messages;
- captions or transcripts for relevant multimedia where practicable;
- avoiding unnecessary reliance on color alone to communicate meaning; and
- compatibility with contemporary browsers and assistive technologies where reasonably practicable.
4. BeeJAO Academy
Accessibility is particularly important to BeeJAO Academy because learners may access educational material using different devices, browsers, connection speeds and assistive technologies.
We aim to progressively improve the accessibility of course pages, lesson content, navigation, assessments, practical activities, digital learning resources, forms, certificates, multimedia and learner account functionality.
Some learning-management-system features and third-party components may have accessibility characteristics outside BeeJAO’s direct technical control.
5. Third-Party Services and Content
BeeJAO may integrate or link to third-party technologies, payment services, embedded media, plugins, applications, social platforms, documents or external websites. BeeJAO does not control the accessibility implementation of independent third-party services.
Where practicable, we seek to consider accessibility when selecting and configuring technologies used within our own digital environment.
6. Known and Potential Limitations
Because BeeJAO’s ecosystem is continuing to develop, some users may encounter accessibility limitations. Potential limitations may include:
- older documents that have not yet been optimized for accessibility;
- third-party embedded content;
- video or multimedia without complete accessibility alternatives;
- third-party plugins and widgets;
- complex interactive components;
- e-commerce functionality;
- learning-management-system components; and
- differences between browsers, devices and assistive technologies.
We welcome reports about specific barriers so that they can be evaluated and, where reasonably practicable, addressed.
7. Browser and Device Compatibility
BeeJAO websites are intended primarily for use with contemporary web browsers and devices. Users may experience reduced functionality when using substantially outdated browsers, unsupported operating systems, browsers with essential functionality disabled or unusual combinations of extensions and assistive technologies.
This does not mean that users experiencing an accessibility barrier should simply change their technology. If you encounter a problem, we encourage you to report it so that we can investigate.
8. Accessibility Feedback
We welcome feedback from users who encounter accessibility difficulties when using BeeJAO services. When reporting a problem, it is helpful to tell us:
- the page or service affected;
- what you were attempting to do;
- the accessibility problem encountered;
- the browser or device being used, where relevant; and
- the assistive technology being used, if you are comfortable providing that information.
Please do not include passwords, authentication credentials or unnecessary confidential information in accessibility reports.
9. Requesting an Alternative
If information or functionality is inaccessible to you, please contact BeeJAO and identify the material or service concerned. Where reasonably practicable, we will consider whether the information can be provided through an alternative accessible format or whether another method of completing the relevant activity is available.
10. Continuous Improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing process rather than a one-time website configuration. As BeeJAO introduces additional platforms, learning programs, software solutions, AI functionality, publications and digital services, we intend to consider accessibility as part of continuing development and improvement.
